REPORTED, NOT CONFIRMED

SemiAnalysis compared two $200 Claude Max 20× accounts. In its October 22 report, the account with about 19% more allowance per five-hour window had about 20% less for the week. Both used Opus 5.5.

We have not established Anthropic confirmation. These are different accounts, not a before-and-after measurement or proof that everyone’s limits changed.

What the percentages mean

They compare the reported usage allowances. They do not measure finished tasks, answer quality or hours of work. A five-hour window is the period before the session allowance resets.

The four-plan comparison

These are official plan terms checked October 23, 2026. Prices are monthly web prices before tax. Different models and usage meters prevent a simple cross-provider quota ranking.

Claude’s $200 monthly API credit must be claimed into an eligible linked Console organization. New subscribers wait seven days. It expires monthly and does not refill interactive Claude Code.

Codex Ultrafast consumes included limits at 8× Standard; purchased credits at 6×. Faster token generation does not mean an entire task finishes that much faster.

X Ultra pools eligible first-party Grok and Cursor activity. Claude and GPT in Cursor cost extra from first use. Legacy Grok subscriptions can have different terms.
